Introduction
IBTF Block Party, August 1, 2024: The Old School Block Party will begin on Thursday, August 1, 2024, in association with the 2024 International Black Theatre Festival presented by the City of Winston-Salem. Comedian Tyrone Davis will serve as the event’s host. It takes place at the Corpening Plaza in downtown Winston-Salem from August 1 through August 3, from 7 to 11 p.m. A range of food trucks and free live entertainment are scheduled for three evenings.

3. Latin Night, August 1, 2024, Thursday, August 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. The Loaded Grape, 2915 Battleground Ave., Suite F in Greensboro, is hosting Latin Night. The Veinte Veinte Vision Latin Festival is raising money for itself with this event. To learn more, visit
4. Live Performance: August 2, 2024 The Ashley Santiago Band will perform live at Wise Man Brewing, 826 Angelo Bros. Ave., Winston-Salem, on Friday, August 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. After the music, Comedy Night will take place at the venue from 9 to 10:30 p.m.
5. Live Performance: August 3, 2024 On Saturday, August 4, from 7 to 9 p.m., Centre City Park in Downtown Greensboro will play host to the City Sunsets Concert Series presented by Greensboro Downtown Parks, Inc. The Queen Bees would play music, and Soulful Plate and Cailee Belle’s Sweet Shoppe would serve cuisine.
6. Live Music: August 4, 2024: The Camel City Yacht Club will perform live music on Sunday, August 4, starting at 1 p.m. at The Deck, which is situated at 118 E. Main St. in Jamestown.
7. Music Band, August 6, 2024, On Tuesday, August 6, at 7:30 p.m., Salem Band will present the Disco & Dance Band event at Salem Square in Old Salem, which is situated at 649 S. Main St. in Winston-Salem. Earth, Wind & Fire, Saturday Night Fever, and the greatest disco of the 1970s will all be performed for the audience. Take in some swing and dance to Louis Prima and Tommy Dorsey. Thriller, Lord of the Dance, and Dance of the Slippery Slide Trombones will be performed for the audience. The Community Ensemble will perform pre-concert music at 6:45 p.m. The public is welcome to attend this free concert. Bring a blanket or lawn chair; food vendors will be present.
8. Bingo for Music, August 8, 2024 On Thursday, August 8, from 7 to 9 p.m., Boxcar Bar + Arcade, situated at 120 W. Lewis St. in Greensboro, will present Music Bingo. Hosted by DJ WaWa, attendees will play Music Bingo to win prizes. The weekly Single Mingle event will begin at 8 p.m. and provide you with an additional opportunity to mingle, socialise, and compete with other single people in the area. The fun will be fueled by drink features and $4 wells.
