Siren Plot
“Siren“ revolves around Thilagavarman, a former ambulance driver turned prisoner, who is granted parole after 14 years to visit his dying father and estranged daughter, Malar, in Kanchipuram. Malar harbours resentment towards Thilagan, blaming him for her mother Jennifer’s death. Despite his parole, Malar chooses to stay with her aunt to avoid him. Thilagan, supported by his mother, attempts to reunite with Malar.

Simultaneously, local criminal Anbazhagan “Anbu” plots to kill his leader, Manickam Thangam, a minister. Anbu hires Manikandan to carry out the assassination. During a visit to a bar, Thilagan inadvertently becomes involved when Manickam is murdered. The police, led by DSP Nagalingam and Nandhini, investigate the crime, and suspicion falls on Nandhini.
As the investigation unfolds, it’s revealed that Thilagan was the mastermind behind the killings of both Anbu and Manickam. His actions were driven by revenge for Jennifer’s death, orchestrated by Manickam and Anbu years earlier. In a climactic scene, Thilagan kills Nagalingam, finally avenging Jennifer. The film ends with an emotional reunion between Thilagan and Malar, bringing the story full circle.
